So today being WOMAN'S DAY, i wanted to share how I celebrate being a woman in today's busy times.
And if you have met me you will know i am definitely one of those woman caught up in the rat race of life, running my business, taking care of my home, husband and my gorgeous daugther are just a few things...basically always on the run!
I feel it’s so important for woman to take time out for THEMSELVES.
This year i had to learn to FIND MYSELF and find TIME FOR ME! Trust me it was very hard to do...but i finally did it and feel amazing!
SO what do i do...well for me, its walking my dogs, watching mini series or old movies on the couch, being with my friends, and having loads of COFFEE ha ha. NOT FEELING GUILTY about doing absolutely nothing some days...Basically its about Making sure to spend ME time in the week doing what I love.
So if you know me you know i am also very shy of the camera...but my business partner is an amazing GLAMOUR PORTRAIT photographer and she managed to capture me...yes ME LOOKING PRETTY ha ha thanks so much Suzette Vorster Photography for capturing me.
Also a huge thank you to ANCHEN CROSSLAND HAIR AND MAKEUP for making me look gorgeous! You are truly one talented lady!
Celebrate being a woman!
HOW DO YOU CELEBRATE BEING A WOMAN?
Being a woman isn’t black and white.
We are all UNIQUE AND BEAUTIFUL IN OUR OWN WAY.
Some women prefer white cotton panties while others prefer red lace (and some go commando). For me its your choice...and you should'nt feel guilty.
Some of us drink our coffee black and some with milk (and others not at all), for me i drink LOADS OF COFFEE...ha ha, yup you know its one thing i cannot live without.
But being a woman is something to be proud of;
it’s something to be so proud of that we refuse to let others define what being a woman should mean to us
—and what it shouldn’t.
I’ll celebrate being a woman.
I’ll howl it. I'LL ROAR IT, I’ll whisper it. (Depending on my mood.)
